Monday’s Class (7/13)

Hi all,

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! Welcome to the 4th week of the class (oh how time flies).

If you have not turned in your Feeder 2 assignment, please either email it to me or submit it here: https://engl149summer2020.web.unc.edu/submit-feeders-here/

This week we will be looking at texts that are considered adaptations or fanfictions. I want you to think about how the lines between these two are often confused and blurry.  We have talked before about how these terms are theoretically conceived, now we will look at specific texts.

If you haven’t already please Read Ta-Nehisi Coates Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet Book 1 (available in Hooplahttps://www.hoopladigital.com/title/12003731 **You will need to create a Hoopla account and create a library card account (it is all free)

The reading is due tonight at 11:59pm. If you are having issues accessing the comic, please reach out to me and I will share my login information with you.
