Grey’s Anatomy is one of my favorite shows and I totally agree! That episode greatly changed viewers’ perspectives about Christina and Owen’s relationship. The episode shows a glimpse into the future while also referring the the present in order to emphasize Christina’s feelings of uncertainty to the audience. These reimagined scenes shows Christina how personally disappointed she would have been had she stuck with Owen. Also, by switching from reality to an imaginary world, the creators allow for viewers to reimagine their own choices as well as the choices made by characters in the series.
