This is a case of copyright infringement because there is no artistic or educational alteration, and it is posted to a platform where they stand to make monetary benefit.

I love seeing funny names for YouTube bootlegs and it’s very fun linguistically to see that ‘slime tutorial’ is the most popular/recognized add-on for people posting boots. My favorite was a Falsettos bootleg that referenced characters that the main actors played in other musicals: “Elder Price and Billy Shakes Play Chess” (Andrew Rannells as Elder Price in Book of Mormon and Christian Borle as William Shakespeare in Something Rotten, and they play chess a lot in Falsettos). That one is down now but there are other Falsettos ones that do similar things with referencing other character names to signal the actual show title that are still up right now: “James from Pokemon Live and Shakespeare are gay lovers??? A conspiracy video(not proshot)” and “kevin price and william shakespeare hook up.” This plays into the idea of how people seek to avoid copyright infringement penalties by altering aspects of the material, even if it’s just being sneaky with the title.

I LOVE THIS! There is an argument that the medium is not the message, but the metadata (title, tags).
