When looking at for this class, I rarely paid attention to tags, as I merely looked at the title and the synopsis to get a view of what the story was about. But after reading this chapter, I learned that tags have very key functions in relation with how audiences interact with the fanfiction piece and how it is perceived by those who vie and read it as a medium.
